Kids Live Here - Capturing My Life on the Fly: The Instagram photos
"So you can keep me

The best camera you have, is the one you have with you and I never go ANYWHERE without my cell phone. An additional layer to my October Kids Live Here project was a collection of Instagram photos. This was almost as much fun as the more structured "real camera" quiet study half of the project. It allowed me to capture quick moments as I moved through the days (picking up stuff). (And it made me realize just how much of my life is dominated by sippy cups and minions.) For all the talk about how addicted we are to our phones, and I SO am, I love having my phone handy for the moments that are fleeting. I love capturing a bucket hat, a silly dance and a crazy outfit in an unguarded, spontaneous moment of childhood bliss. These pictures aren't that, they are a continuation of kid STUFF, but maybe that's a project for another month.

And in case you thought that the project ended and I stopped documenting my crazy life for posterity (i.e. to prove to them when they are teenagers that they were messy little monsters ... I mean to celebrate the glee with which they enjoy our home), here is one last #CCLphotoKidsLiveHere moment.
