You Are Beautiful
I think the most common thing I hear when I tell people about my work as a boudoir photographer is that it's something they would LOVE to do ... "when I lose 10 lbs." And I, as a constant chaser of those very same 10 lbs, know the feeling of longing for the confidence gain that comes with weight loss. But here's the thing (and it's important, so listen up): YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Just as you are (in the words of the delicious Colin Firth playing the uber romantic Mark Darcy ... and who doesn't love a compliment from that guy?!). Seriously. You. Sitting at the computer. Beautiful. So stop thinking about the last 10 lbs, pick up a mirror and look at yourself. REALLY LOOK. Not at your butt or your post-baby belly or your end-of-summer pores. Look past all of that and see what your partner and your kids and your best friend and your mom see. See the wonderful you that is shining through all the things you can't stop looking at. And you'll see what they see and what I see when I photograph you. Beauty.
